The suite is lovely self-catering accommodation in garden surrounds near Lake Waikaremoana and it comes with linens, towels and all the kitchen basics. Host next-door so you can ring to get anything sorted.


Built in 1946 and renovated in 2009, our small suite is an ideal base for exploring Urewera Park’s many walks. Afterwards enjoy views of Lake Whakamarino and the orchard from the shared deck or the suite’s patio with BBQ and fireplace.

A Wild Paradise

Lake Waikaremoana is situated in Te Urewera on New Zealand’s North Island. It lies 60 kilometers northwest of Wairoa and 80 kilometers west-southwest of Gisborne and  spans an area of 54 square kilometers. Waikaremoana translates from Te Reo Māori as  'sea of rippling waters’.
